You can transfer your user profile to another device at any time. There are 2 ways to do this — one way is to link your profile to a user account – this way, your profile will be available on any device you log into with your account details. The other option is to use a QR code from the application. Below please find instructions on how to transfer your profile data using a QR code. Please note that if you link your profile to your user account and then log out, the linked profile will not be visible in the profiles tab. If you want a profile that is not linked to your user account (created after logging out) to be transferred to your account, then you also need a QR code to transfer data.
Export
In the Photon Robot app tap the gears icon in the top right corner of the main panel – to open the settings panel. Look for the Export option in the right column.
Tap on it to generate a QR code containing all your profile data. Simply scan this code with your other device to transfer your profile to another device or user account.
Import
To import your profile on another device, tap the yellow Import profile button in the profile panel.
If you have not allowed the app to access your device before, you will need to grant access this time. After granting access, scan the previously generated QR code. Once scanned, the application will display your profile upload status. To approve the import, tap Next.
