From time to time, to introduce new features and improvements to the robot we release application updates. Updates are free of charge.
Internet access is required to perform the update process!
Mobile applications
If you have automatic updates switched on in your mobile device, in most cases you won’t even notice the updates. In this scenario, you do not have to do anything to have the latest app version.
If you switched off automatic updates for your apps, you need to perform a manual update. You will get a notification every time there is an update to your application in the Google Play or AppStore. Just follow the provided link to the store. After clicking on the Go to the store now button, you will be taken directly to the correct app. Click the Update button to complete the update process.
Photon Magic Bridge
Photon Magic Bridge app is updated automatically. Whenever a new version is released, a blue download progress bar appears at the bottom of the window.
Once the download is complete, the application will ask you to reboot to install the updated components.
The installer will run the update process (it may take several minutes to complete) and then restart the application.
