Problems with updating the robot

On rare occasions the update process may not go as planned. If you start the update process, and the progress percentage value does not appear after 15 seconds, the update will fail.

In such case, restart the application (leave your robot switched on), connect to the robot, which will appear as an OTA device this time, and tap Update again. This should force the robot to update itself correctly.

If the update stops spontaneously, even though the percentage progress value is shown, or the robot shuts down itself before the update is complete, try to update it from another device (if you have a Photon Magic Dongle, we recommend that you update your robot via your computer this time).
